The area called Hoppeland or Hops land is located northwest of Poperinge, close to the French border. The name refers to the hops plant which favours the fertile clay soil found here. Departing from Poperinge, also named hops town, the route leads to charming villages like Roesbrugge, Haringe and Sint-Jan-ter-Biezen. Only available in Dutch.
