With craftsmanship and patience the monks of the Saint Sixtus abbey brew a trappist beer rated in 2005 as the best beer in the world. In the pub "De Vrede" opposite the monastery you can taste this heavenly beer and the Claustrum has a small exhibition and lets visitors have a look at the history of the abbey, its monks and their beer using touch screens.
