PicturesArmy Chaplain Philip Clayton opened in 1915 a soldiers' club Talbot House where everybody regardless of military rank, religion, race was welcome: Everyman's Club. The adjacent hop warehouse was converted into a Concert Hall where soldiers enjoyed movies, theatre, concerts, debates...
