The triennial hop & beer festival takes place every 3rd weekend of September (2011, 2014....). Among the guests invited are delegations from our twinned towns; there are live performances and beer galore in a huge marquee (one would think himself in the Munich beer fest), a new hop queen is elected and a whirling, colourful parade winds through the city centre on Sunday. Don't miss the next edition in September 2014.
